Role
Overview
Many dating applications now concentrate on matching users and providing a messaging platform. They do it in various methods, but their main goal is to introduce their users to one another. As a result, they might be classified as matching applications. Their primary flaw is their 150:1 average matching-dating ratio. As a result, folks looking for in-person dates may find it challenging to discover them through dating apps, so we've come up with some ideas.
Problem Statement
There are around 8,000 dating sites on the internet, and approximately 40 million Americans have used at least one of them. We live in a culture where we are offered a plethora of options and must make a plethora of decisions every day due to those options. Do we need a dating site dedicated to jailed people? Singles would be better off with fewer alternatives that excel at what they do and fewer phony profiles roaming the internet.

User Research
Method: Quantitative Research
-
Finding out how individuals feel about online dating, their difficulties, and potential enhancements to existing dating applications were among the critical areas of inquiry.
-
What would make consumers transfer from their current app to a new one in the dating app industry, which is saturated?
-
What characteristics would attract a new audience?
-
What would entice current users to switch from one app to another?
-
The age range of the respondents was mainly between 25 and 34, followed by 35–40. The majority of the interviewees were young and had a well-established career.

Ideation
According to user research, people are willing to test new items. They don't only want better design, though. They want to try out a new feature. I already have various dating app concepts, but after completing user research, I've decided to drop some and add others.
Features
Credibility Graph
Choosy One of Credibility's major features allows users to examine the credibility graphs of everyone on their favorite and friend lists. Ex-partners of the user can assess their profile based on their behavior (they can be assessed by the picky team with specific pre-built credibility questions). It is visible in the user's profile. This credibility graph can be hidden or unhidden by users. They can't view another person's credibility graph if they conceal this graph.
Blind Play
Users may play and test their tastes with their selected companion by selecting what they enjoy, and they can do so when both of them are online.
Happy Line
With Choosy, users may express their thoughts and experiences. We correctly saved user data and supplied it in a presentable format. Users may share this happy line (pictures, videos, text, audio, pdf) within the program with their adoring lover. It will be shared when the user and their partner have been together for at least 30 days. They should talk every day and meet at least once.
Travel Partner
While traveling, the user might share their favorite experiences with unsuspecting pals. These features appear as a notice on the user's phone, such as "Around you." It will appear while traveling, such as in an airport or a subway. The user could share their favorite moments with unknowing friends while traveling.
Virtual Date
Users may customize their avatars and dwellings in 3D. They may invite their spouse on a virtual date and share their experiences via talking (texting) at various locations such as coffee shops, parks, and more. Following that, they may send presents to their spouse using CHOOSY. When they virtual date their companion, a popup for both sides displays, saying, "Make it real— Nearby Coffee Shop." When they both agree, it displays local meetup locations. If other end partners are unwilling to attend the event, CHOOSY does not demonstrate their readiness to work with that individual.
Chat X
Users can communicate anonymously with random strangers (of their selected gender).
Retro Radio
Fill the Retro Radio session with favorite tunes - A customizable backdrop to reflect the user's mood. This session will be broadcast to the followers.
Monetization Ideation
Many individuals are looking for love and companionship in their lives. Most dating apps do an excellent job of overcoming this, but their functionality is limited for revenue purposes. So, for free, I created a selection of premium features (Choosy+). Choosy makes money by partnering with merchandize for the virtual date function, allowing users to give open presents to their partners and meet in real life at coffee shops and restaurants. On the other hand, users who get gifts do not need to be concerned about their privacy because they choose not to disclose their information.

Outcome
Choosy is a social dating app for the next generation. With the aid of choosy+, users may locate the right companion (premium feature-free). Here, I'll go over the Choosy design process from start to finish.
